The New York Times may not have been completely accurate in the execution of the story, but that still does not excuse the NFL's inadequacy to help make sports an activity where nobody has to die. The NFL's main point was that the tests were preliminary, and had been taken over 15 years ago. However, I don't believe this to be a long enough time to change ways completely, and the fact that all concussion reports are not mandated is a shady dealing in it's best. The Times should probably retract the article for the little mistakes, but this shouldn't be the end of the crusade to make sports safer.
