sorry-o

The sports writer known as John Canzano is going to be emulated in this column, while also being described in a matter of fact manner so as not to take sides on any issue being held. The next quote will shatter this neutrality by posturing an opinionated quote by someone personally affected by this.

"I'm not entirely sure how to go about this assignment," local student Sam Trickey says to himself in response to the assignment. "But I can tell you that I hate it very much." For the last year he has been waiting for the school year to end, and now it finally seems as if it will. He wont be attending the Graduation ceremony, and he certainly doesn't want to waste bowling hours on this assignment.

"I really don't like this, but its what you gotta do." Astute readers will note that this assignment doesn't really have an over arching theme, but just relies on numbers and winding dialogue so commonly prevalent in sports writing. The column he is trying to emulate is not actually about sports, and this makes it pretty alright. The actual story relies on the rape victims quotes, and he couldn't find a good way to emulate the situation of someone who has definitely experienced much worse. "I just feel so helpless, he says.

Mr. Winter could not be reached for comment on this article, but if he did I would include him in the style of John Canzano, which is to say split up two different people stories into two parts of a story.
